If you're writing a book with the intention of querying it to an agent for future professional sale, this is an essential class! 

If you're in the process of drafting or revising a novel for traditional publications, you may be wondering when and how you'll be ready to query. In this workshop, we'll be breaking down the components of an effective query letter, first 10 pages, and a synopsis so that you feel ready to enter the trenches. Will include instructor feedback on query packages.

K.M. Veohongs is a mixed race Thai-American writer of speculative fiction and poetry. As the daughter of an immigrant to the US, she’s often pulled to write about diaspora feelings and the harms perpetuated by colonialism. She is an alum of the Viable Paradise and Roots.Wounds.Words. writing workshops and won a 2023 Ignyte Community Award as part of the Flights of Foundry convention. Her work is featured in Translunar Traveler’s Lounge, Trollbreath, and elsewhere, including the Bram Stoker Award-nominated anthology Mother: Tales of Love and Terror.
