Be you trad-published, indie-published, or to-be-published, if you want to establish relationships with local stores to host your events and sell your books, this is the class for you!
We all know we need a quick pitch for our books, but when's the last time you've said it out loud that wasn't in front of the mirror or to a supportive spouse?
Let's spend some time giving kind & helpful feedback to each other on the delivery and content of our pitches. Practicing in a low pressure environment will make it so much easier when you're faced with the dreaded "what's your book about?" question!
No pitch yet? No problem! We'll go through the basics and spend some time refining together to make sure everyone walks away feeling better about their pitch than when we started.
Daphne James Huff is the author of over fifteen sweet contemporary romances and co-hosted the Writer Mom Life podcast for three years. After nearly a decade working in Europe, she moved to Massachusetts with her French husband and son, where she handles HR for tech companies during the week and spends her weekends on soccer fields and in bookstores. She never says no to free cake or cheese, and can usually be found eating both to stay awake after writing all night.
This class is offered live over Zoom and will be recorded for participating members. The Zoom link will be sent to the email addressed used to register for the class. A recording for ticket holders will be available for 3 months after class has concluded.
